The Salmon Viewing Centre is based in a room in farm buildings. It's quite educational, apparently the main threat to salmon is from mankind, and would be good for children. There's a good cafe 50 yards away.

Good place to walk or watch the salmon

Pleasant area for walking. Clean flat walking on flood defence's banking. Walk along river bank interesting for seeing water powered electric generation installation, although can be muddy at times along bank and low areas of flood plain. Pleasant and friendly cafe available in car park.

Best salmon viewing centre we've been to

Happened to be world migration day so had an interesting talk and conducted tour of the new fish counting and filming system, the fish and eel passes and the two Archimedes screw hydro electric generators. There are lovely walks along the river and the flood defences.
