We stayed in a Tima Lodge over Christmas with our Springer Spaniel Bailey, had a lovely break very peaceful and quiet. Everything you could need even had a christmas tree in the lodge. Alex the caretaker was very helpful nothing is too much trouble for him, he even gave us some bird seed for our feeder to attract the local birdlife right outside our window.Satellite tv channels and everything you need ,If you want a peaceful break youll love it.Be aware you will not have mobile service and wifi if you cant do without find somewhere else as you will be disappointed, nature lovers will love it.No noise pollution, No air pollution, No light pollution, No water polluttion!The site and the local area doesn't pretend to be anything its not, do your research.
Amazing place, went here for a few days last week with my partner and dog. We really enjoyed ourselves. The caravan we stayed in was immaculate, there was everything you needed provided which I thought was lovely. It was warm and cosy, and the views surrounding the caravan was amazing. So many beautiful spots to go and see. Plenty of walks too. Perfect if you are looking for a peaceful quiet escape. We will definitely be back and will most likely bring our children next time as while we were there; thought they would love it.
Stayed here for our second time at the end of September, absolutely love it! If you are looking to get away from it all and for peace and quiet it is perfect. We knew there was no wi-fi and so bought our own games with us, but the site has games and books to borrow. We loved the wildlife and the local walks and scenery. Yes, you have to drive half an hour or so to the local towns, but the enjoyment of driving through the lovely scenery makes up that. The managers on site are lovely and work hard to maintain the site and make it nice. We will definitely be returning!
Had a wonderful time here , dogs loved it.if you're looking for a remote place no phone signal pure Bliss twenty miles from nearest shop. Good job they have a shop on side. The caravan was nice and clean and even the old whistling kettle . So if you want to litteraly stay in the middle of know where away from phones, text messages and Facebook I can recommend this place .
An amazing place to relax. There is no WiFi however you can rent movies and borrow board games. Fantastic scenery however very isolated. The cabins are very clean and tidy. They are also quite big perfect for a family of four. It is a wonderful place to stay very peaceful. Would definitely come again and recommend to someone who is looking for a peaceful place to stay.
