Very warm welcome in a good location in Selkirk. Nice and quiet, traditional guest house type hotel. The staff are excellent. There are 6 or 7 parking spaces for guests.
Great village style hotel. Beautiful place. The only neg point: too much oil in the food served.
Beautiful original features and incredibly comfortable room, mattress and pillows. Powerful large shower and room tasteful and clean. Garden was well maintained with an array of mature shrubs, Acer's and trees. Our chocolate lab loved it and the surrounding country walks. Breakfast was exceptional, I'd recommend the full Scottish breakfast anyday... Vegetarian version available. Staff were discreet and friendly and the hotel had a great family, personal vibe about it. Would definitely return and couldn't recommend highly enough!
Clean and comfortable with friendly staff.. single room was quite roomy and clean and comfy. Nice garden to sit out in. Breakfast was lovely
My Mother recently enjoyed a 3 night stay . She thought the room was clean, nicely decorated with a good sized shower. The bed was comfortable and she slept well . Breakfast was good with an appropriate variety for all tastes. Mum said that the owners were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the Borders . She would definitely stay here again.
