Amazing renovation! Home from home comforts. The beds are super comfy and the place was immaculate when we arrived. Warm and cosy despite the cold outside. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in a wonderful setting!
We had the very great luck to be able to book the five turrets for a short stay with some friends. All of us were just amazed by the main space which is just the best place to entertain or relax and indeed while we were there we talked about pretty much nothing else. The attention to detail is second to none, the design and layout bang on, and our friends from all over the world left thanking us for such a fantastic trip. Heartily recommend!
I have watched the transformation of this fairy tale property into what will undoubtedly be one of the best self catering properties in the Scottish Borders. Not due solely to the magnificent building but also to the dedication of its owners, their love affair with the beautiful Scottish Borders and their desire to share it with you. Enjoy !
There is no question that The Five Turrets is the best self-catering establishment I have ever had the pleasure of staying in - and I've stayed in rather a lot. The beds are stupendously comfortable and the linen immaculate. The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever seen - from pasta machine to potato peeler, from pots and pans to oven dishes, utensils, basic supplies - I could go on. The mezzanine library is a joy as is the living area. What else can I say - oh yes - the fireplace - a stunner. If you want to understand self-catering perfection just go. Its simply superb. I forgot location - brilliant - you can walk to the pub in two minutes!!
